We live in a Semi-Detached, four-bedroom house with a large garden. We are a friendly family with two young boys, (Hirantha (father) - Business Analyst, Tharuka (1998), Dinuka (2002), Rasika (mother) - School Assistant). Tharuka & Dinuka participate in a number of sports and music activities . We encourage our guests to spend time with us and share our cultures and traditions. We welcome friendly students who would like to share our home, and our way of life with us and exchange cultural experiences. Additional Info: A light continental breakfast can be offered at a small cost. Use of the microwave is permitted if you have any take away food that needs warming. As HomeStay guests, living with us and sharing our way of life, you will be welcome to our family. Since we receive bookings from other sources as well, it is not possible to have the calendar updated at all times. As a Youth Manager in our Cricket Club I am DBS checked and as a School Assistant, Rasika is also DBS verified and we both have clear records.

My year-long stay with Hirantha and his family was incredibly enriching. From the moment I arrived in London as a master's student to when my wife joined me later, they welcomed us with open arms, treating us like family. Not only did they provide a comfortable living space and invaluable guidance on British culture, but being Sri Lankan themselves, they also shared insights into their culture and lifestyle. Weekends were filled with music, engaging conversations, and delicious meals, making us feel right at home. Though we're moving on due to work commitments, their home will always hold a special place in our hearts. I wholeheartedly recommend Hirantha's homestay for anyone seeking a nurturing environment where cultural exchange thrives.

Hirantha's home was comfortable and secure for me.really it was like my near relatives home.They are very warm ,respectable ,clean and regular family.thanks to hirantha for playing professional ,such lovely and emotional Srilanka and Western music.special thanks to hirantha's wife for excellent accommodation and catering. with wishing best in life and health for them and many thanks for tolerated me .

The family was kind thus on the last day I was asked to leave at 10 even if my train was at 5pm and the evening meals were always sandwiches except for one day each week (delicious hot meal).
