The apartment is located in a very nice area of the 'Eixample. It is one of the ideal neighbourhoods of Barcelona to live in: with recently renovated buildings, away from the noise and tourist streets and with a well-developed infrastructure. The neighbourhood of l'Eixample was designed in the XIX by Ildefons Cerdà, to extend the territory of the city and make it more comfortable for citizens. This area has nothing in common with the Old City of Ciutat Vella. However, it is located in a central area next to the architectural pearls and the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, such as the Basilica and the Expiatory Temple of the Sagrada Familia and the Hospital of Santa Creu and Sant Pau. Also in this area, there are a lot of parks, avenues, and nice streets to walk around. And only a few steps away you can find several supermarkets, all kinds of shops, banks, and many other places.
How to get to the apartment?
The nearest metro station is Sant Pau | Dos de Maig (L5). This metro station is well connected with other parts of the city, so you can easily reach the centre of Barcelona, Barcelona-El Prat airport or any of the train stations. There are also a lot of bus stops that can take you anywhere.
