My home is very central (101-area). It is in a 5 minutes walking distance from the big church, Hallgrímskirkja, public transport (Hlemmur square) and Laugavegur which is the primary commercial artery of downtown Reykjavík and one of the oldest shopping streets. There you can find all the best restaurants , nightlife, and happenings. Across the street is one of the nicest swimmingpool (Sundhöllin) in town.
The apartment consists of two rooms apart from the living room, the bigger one is with with King-size (160x200 cm bed) and the smaller one has a double sleeping sofa. In the living room there is a sofa bed (changeable from 90x200 to 140x200 - see photos). It can be used for guests. My place is good for couples who can share my big bedroom. I am on a sabbatical and you would need to share the apartment with my husband who will partly be there and therefore just residing in the smaller bedroom. A musical art students is renting the room in the basement and has an access to the kitchen in the evenings, but rarely use. He is not sharing the bathroom in the apartment. The tenant(s) only need to share the bathroom occasionally with my husband.
