The stations Maerkisches Museum, Heinrich-Heinestrasse and Jannowitzbruecke giving access to five major subway and train lines can be reached in short walks. Boat trips through Berlin can be taken from the nearby riverbank. Despite its very central location the neighbourhood remains a peaceful one.
