The Cork House at Quinta Dos Figos
Spacious and modern design furnished holiday home built with a distinctive cork facade reflecting the surround area cork trees. It is an 8-minute drive from the beautiful town of Caldas da Rainha and the popular beaches Sao Martinho do Porto (10 min) and Foz do Arelho (20 min). There are several restaurants within walking distance.
The house is located next to our own house, but is completely private. If you need anything, there is always someone nearby. The back of the house has a large private terrace with a beautiful view over the green valley with a variety of fruit and nut trees. You are free to take any food you find from the orchard.
The house is located in a green, natural environment. Many walking routes can be taken directly into nature from the house. Our house is located exactly between two small villages, both of which are about a 5-minute walk away. The village of Salir de Matos has basic facilities such as a mini-mercado, pharmacy, a cafe and a number of restaurants. On Sundays, local residents bake and sell bread in the village. In the other village of Guisado is the famous restaurant Solar dos Amigos, known for its delicious barbeque dishes.
The house is fully furnished and has a fast / stable fibreglass internet connection. The house has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, a large kitchen/living room with a furnished work area. The house is approximately 90m2 and has a terrace of 30m2 with large dining table, barbecue and parasol.
