Located in a renovated building, the Guest Inn offers a local experience in the center of bustling Alfama. You will find Lisbon's most typical and historic neighborhood, with the Fado Museum, the National Pantheon and other historic sites just a few steps away. There are also several bars and restaurants nearby. Due to the existence of a local bar in front of the property, we do not recommend it for people sensitive to noise. The apartment is located in the area where the annual Santos Populares festivities take place during the month of June. Be aware that this area can be very busy and noise can be expected!
Building
The apartment is located on the 2nd floor (no elevator) of a completely renovated building in one of the most traditional streets of Alfama. Please note that access to the apartment is made by steep stairs. The apartment has a bright and welcoming feel and offers all the comfort in the heart of the city. It is ideal for couples or small families who want to spend pleasant days in Lisbon, with all the city's main attractions and incredible viewpoints within walking distance.
Strictly pedestrian street - nearest street with car access is just 2 minutes walking!
Ongoing nearby construction works, with no timetable for completion.
Sleeping/Kitchenette area
The apartment has a comfortable double bed and air conditioning. The kitchenette is fully equipped with fridge, iron, microwave, kettle and coffee maker (coffee not included).
Living room
The living room has a flat-screen TV, a double sofa bed ready to accommodate two more guests and a balcony overlooking the apartment's street.
Bathroom
The apartment has a bathroom with a shower.

Be aware that Alfama is a very lively area of Lisbon and the apartment is in front of a local bar. Due to its existence in front of the property's door, we do not recommend it to people sensitive to noise.
The property is Self-Catered. Complimentary basic items are provided for your arrival, including first-day toiletries, toilet paper, etc. These items are offered on a welcome basis only - replacements or re-fills are not provided.
Bed and bath linen are provided according to the number of guests confirmed in the reservation. For stays longer than 7 nights, additional bed and bath linen will be provided for free at the check-in.
The Cleaning Fee included in your reservation covers the check-out cleaning only. Extra cleanings or fresh linens can be requested during your stay and are subject to an extra fee - these requests must be done with at least 24 hours in advance.
Check-in time starts at 14:00. Only one set of keys will be provided.
We are obligated by Portuguese law to collect our guest's Passport information.
Check-out must be done until 11am. Before leaving, please place the keys in the lockbox.
During the stay, the guest is responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of the property's keys. Please avoid leaving them in the lock or mailbox. In the event that a specialized technician is needed for door opening or in case of damage to the key and/or lock, the costs associated with this service will be the responsibility of the guest. In case of key loss, a penalty will be applied.
The property is equipped with noise decibel monitoring sensors. This system performs advanced analysis while ensuring the privacy of our guests, as no cameras are used, and no sound is recorded. Only noise levels are measured, thus guaranteeing the tranquility and comfort of everyone during their stay.
Crib and baby chair are available upon request and subject to an extra fee.
City Tax will also be charged according to the law. This Tax will only be applied for the first 7 nights.
Please note that the building does not have an elevator and access to the apartment is made by steep stairs.
