Casa Baltazar Douro River & Sea
With a fabulous view over the Douro River, this three bedroom design house with sun terrace and garden is perfect for groups and families with children. Located in a quiet area, walking distance from the river, 5 min. by car or public transports to city center and beach area.
Casa Baltazar has been renovated by the architect Pedro Gadanho, who was the main curator of Architecture at MOMA, New York. In 2019 Casa Baltazar was participating in Open House Porto and open doors for visitors. The design contributed to the special quality of this house, and to the privileged relationship with garden and surroundings.
On the entrance floor, you can find the living room with wood burning stove for cooler days, afully equipped kitchen, and a balcony with a staircase that leads to the courtyard.
On the upper floor there are the double bedroom, a bathroom, and a small balcony.
On the ground floor, you have a single bedrom, and a twin bedroom, and a bathroom (with tub). The ground floor goes directly to the terrace.
