The main promenade and sandy beach are 1 minute walk from the flat, as well as a wide selection of bars and restaurants (open all year). Shops, bakeries, chemists - all within 1-2 mins walk.
The front of the property (living room and the main bedroom) are overlooking the garden and the sea. The large garden provides a good level of privacy when sitting on the balconies, compared to many town properties, which are right next to each other.
A bus stop for the centre of Thessaloniki is 2 mins walk. There are frequent buses, a return fare to the centre is (currently) 2.20eur. Going southbound, the same bus will take you to Nea Michaniona, a nice non-touristy fishing village with a choice of bars and restaurants (a nice alternative to busy city centre.
