There is a large walk in shower in the bright and light bathroom which has been tiled in Travertine marble. The bedroom boasts a very comfortable memory foam queen size double bed and built-in wardrobes. The kitchen is equipped with all mod cons, including an electric oven, ceramic hob, toaster, coffee-maker, kettle and washing-machine. Whilst the sitting room features a very comfy three-seater sofa with great views to the garden, a Smart TV with fibre optic WiFi access, a wood burner for the colder winter nights and a dining area for two. A safe is also provided for guest security.
The dining table doubles as the indoor workspace. In addition there is a table outside with plug sockets so guests can also work in the garden.
Externally, there`s an outdoor shower for cooling off and various seating areas dotted around the tropical courtyard garden in both sun and shade, so guests can really enjoy spending as much time as possible outdoors. There's also a barbecue for those who enjoy cooking outdoors.
The owners have created a great outdoor dining area using an old tree trunk as a table base. And they are real garden lovers - continually improving the courtyard and adding new plants on a regular basis.
The garden provides great colour and interest all year round and hosts a wonderful range of plants including a giant Drago palm - typical of the Canary Islands - Mascarena palms, Traveller palms, African aloes, bananas, strelitzas, hibiscus, passion flower and much more besides.

Guatiza is the greenest and leafiest village on Lanzarote. It was once home to the island's cactus based cochineal industry, so many fields locally are still dominated by the tunera cacti. Whilst the main avenida is lined with giant eucalyptus trees.
Fittingly, the village is home to Cesar Manrique's world renowned Cactus Garden, which is just a five minute stroll from Finca Botanico. And here you can view an amazing collection of over 10,000 cacti in the sunken ampitheatre setting of a disused former quarry. This is also a great spot for lunch or a morning coffee.
There are good restaurants, bars and a small supermarket with cashpoint within a few minutes walk of the Finca.
The village has managed to hold on to it's authentic rural roots and boasts some great scenery, making it ideal for walkers and hikers, whilst lots of fields locally are still cultivating a wide range of crops, such as corn, potatoes, tomatoes, mango, papaya etc
One of the island's best beaches at Arrieta is just five minutes drive away, whilst the larger resort of Costa Teguise is around ten minutes by car.
Finca Botanico is just a few minutes walk from the local bus stop. There are public bus services, the number 7 and 9, from here to both Arrieta and the North of the island as well as towards Costa Teguise and the airport.
We always recommend that guests hire a car though, as there is so much to do and see on Lanzarote. We can help with the best rates locally and you can park safely on street right outside the property.
No children or babies accepted - there isn't space in the apartment for children. We provide beach towels as well as towels and sheets for use in the apartment.
