AREA
Malasaña is one of the historic neighborhoods of Madrid that, curiously, brings together the most modern and underground residents of the city. It is usually associated with the explosion of the cultural movement of the 80s called Movida Madrileña.
In the Malasaña neighborhood there are some of the most desirable open spaces in the capital. They tend to be very crowded and, at the same time, neighborhood life and that of the big city pass through them. The rest of its streets are narrow and lively, some pedestrianized, perfect for strolling.
The Plaza del Dos de Mayo is the nerve center of Malasaña and is located a few meters from the property. Manuela Malasaña Street is very popular for giving its name to the neighborhood. Also because it is home to some important establishments such as the Maravillas Theater and the Casa Maravillas brewery.
HOW TO GET THERE
It is located in the center of the city, and it is very easy to walk to all places, but if you still prefer to take a metro, the closest stations are:
-Callao: Line 5 and 3
-Gran Vía: Lines 1 and 5
-Noviciado: Line 2
