It is bordered by Cerro do Penedo Grande, to the north and the station and Monte de São José, to the south.
The pedestrian path "Via Algarviana" passes through the village.
The village has direct access to the A2 highway, which connects the Algarve to Lisbon.
It is located at a distance of about 18km from the coast and the city of Albufeira.
Public parking in the village is free.
It's people maintain the customs they inherited from their ancestors, with a statement of modernity.
The Penedo Grande Suites is a renovated historic building, located in the center of the village, between the Municipal Market and the church, which is suitable for all customers, whether they wish to visit us on vacation or whether they intend to work, namely, remotely (digital nomads).
