Onze gezinslevens in een stille, bladvoorstad op peninsulaire 9km van het centrum van Sydney. Ons huis is een groot 6 slaapkamerhuis met een pool en een pingponglijst. Wij hebben 3 kinderen allen in hun jaren '30 - en iedereen leeft nu vanaf huis. Mijn echtgenoot werkt gewoonlijk in Nieuw Zeeland dat terug aan Sydney komt elke weinig weken. Wij hebben vaak andere reizigers die zodat blijven kunt u verwachten om sommige interessante mensen te ontmoeten als u hier blijft. Wij zijn oorspronkelijk van Nieuw Zeeland maar houden nu van het klimaat en de manier van het leven in Australië, vooral Sydney. Het gebied waar wij leven is zeer veilig en door de busdienst gemakshalve betreden. De bus neemt 30 mins aan het stadscentrum. Er is ook de veerbootdienst met een beperkt tijdschema dat onze peninsulair dient. De veerbootwerf is weg een gemakkelijke min wandeling 5-10. Het is een prachtige manier om in de stad te reizen en neemt slechts 20 min. U kunt uw Opalen kaart of creditcard op de veerboot gebruiken. Onze straat is breed met weinig verkeer. Als u door uw eigen autoparkeren bent geen probleem komt. Als u bij de luchthaven aankomt kan ik u van het St Leonard station oprapen.

Frances is so very kind and helpful. I had good impression on her via homestay.com but when I met her, she was far more than I expected. She helped pick me and my stufff up and dropped me off at the airport with a very reasonable fee. She genuinely wants to help her guests to make the most of their time in Sydney rather than purely focusing on making money. Her house is really clean and big located in a very quiet street. Once you meet her, I'm sure you would trust and respect straight away. I will definitely come back again. Such a fantastic accommodation and a wonderful host!

I stayed with Frances for about 20 days. It was a pleasant time. Frences is very nice, when I arrive she picked me up at the train station and cooked delicious meals for me. Thank you very much Frences and I will strongly recommend to my friends who wish to find a homestay in Sydney.

Thanks, Frances, We have stayed in your house with very enjoy. Our two little girls are still missing you and talking sometimes. They have memorized this 1week stay is one of the best experiences of AUS trip. Thanks again. I wish we will meet again one day.

My mother and I had a really lovely stay with Frances and Steven over the long weekend. Their house is well appointed, clean, homely and in one of the most beautiful parts of Sydney. Public transport is within a short walk of the house (but taxi/ Uber might be needed over weekends to get you to a train station due to more restricted timetable). They are a delightful couple - very welcoming and we enjoyed some really interesting conversations with them as well as the other guests there at the time. It was such a lovely stay we plan to return as an annual event.

Our homestay by Frances was nice. She picked us up at the AirPort. And there was a possibility to eat together with Some other guests. The bus to the city is just a couple minutes away and you can go with your Opal card. You can have breakfast: when you want something you have to look in the kitchen and take what you want. Frances is nice, but a little chaotic. In the night we played Some nice games together.
