Van ons huis, kunt u een panorama van het gehele Plein en van ons balkon hebben van de comfortabele en mooie atmosfeer genieten, naast het hebben van de vrije dienst van WIFI. Â ons huis wordt gevestigd in een plaats die snel en comfortabel is om overal het lopen of te reizen in het durven pedicabs dat door toeristen aangezien hun ondernemers de overdracht van de prettige toerist of het huren van fietsen in het bijzonder plaatsen zoals Velo Cuba maken, ook van ons huis is zeer gemakkelijk om andere nabijgelegen gemeenten zoals Vedado, Centro Habana te bereiken worden gehouden van. Wij zijn zeker dat de beste keus ons moet kiezen.

We are so glad to have met Marlen, Rafael their lovely son Kevin. We stayed at their beautiful casa for two nights before and two nights after our cycling holiday. The casa is superbly located and gives a very nice feeling of well-being. It is centrally located with easy walking access to a number of great restaurants, the other plazas, the waterfront, the bustling Obispo, the Cadeca (currency exchange), museums and art galleries. There is a primary school located on the square and it was lovely to see the kids in their uniforms having their PE (Physical Education) lessons in the square early mornings. So many of them and so happy and enthusiastic and so full of life. That, we are sure is where our own feeling of happiness and well-being in this place came from. That and observing Cubans going about their lives whilst enjoying our super breakfasts. We can't recommend Marlen and her lovely casa and her lovely family enough.

We had a really wonderful time staying with Marlene, her husband Rafael, and their son Kevin. They are warm great people who felt like our best friends by the time we left. The accommodations were completely first class. Our room was clean, comfortable, and we had a lovely view of the Plaza Vieja below from our balcony. It was so nice to just sit out on the balcony watching all the people and events in the Plaza while listening to salsa music throughout the day. In the morning, Marlene cooked us a tremendous breakfast that included everything from a big plate of fresh fruit to coffee to eggs and toast and even a delicious smoothie! Marlene and Rafael were willing to guide us or help us at any given moment as we explored La Habana. When we visit La Habana again we would love to stay with them. Edna, Glenn, and Amber Fisher

Alles super nett und sauber. Tolle Lage. Der beste Start, den man auf Kaba haben kann. Marlene und ihr Mann sprechen gut Englisch und helfen gerne wo sie nur können. Wir sind begeistert!

We stayed for four nights at the casa of Marlene and Rafael. They are lovely people: very reliable , friendly and helpful. Marlene also speaks English. The room was spottlesly clean and everything just as promised (which was not the case with some other places we stayed at in Cuba). Good beds and good sleeping quality. The location by Plaza Vieja, in the heart of the historic center, is absolutely fantastic. You can enjoy the fresh breakfast, prepared by the host family, on your own French balcony with a splendid view over the whole square. You can watch school children play at the plaza in the mornings, and listen to bands playing Cuban rhythms at the restaurants and cafes in the evenings. We can warmly recommend this casa, and want to thank once more our great host family for everything.

Marlene y Rafael nos daron la bienvenida con mucho cariño. La habitación y el baño estaban muy limpios y bonitos. La casa se encuentra en el corazón de Habana vieja que es perfecto para caminar a los sitios del interés. Marlene y Rafael nos ayudaron a organizar nuestro viaje y nos recomendaron restaurantes y excursiones en Habana. Gracias por todo, nos ha gustado muchísimo.
