We stayed in Magali´s home for 4 nights and can absolutely recommend this „casa“! The house is very clean and tidy, very spacious and well located. The rooms are spacious, with a private bath room -which is cleaned every day- a mini bar and air conditioner. The hotspot Fábrica de Arte is at walking distance and is a great place of shows of music, theatre, dance and art. Do not miss this place! Magali´s home is in the district called Vedado which is a bit outside the touristic centre. Therefore, it is a very calm area, and perfect to have a good nights sleep after a long and exciting day. This was one of the few places during our journey where we could rest well as there was no noise from the streets. Also, Magali will explain the best and cheapest way to get to the centre which works perfectly. Besides these facilities, what makes this place so special is Magali! She is absolutely wonderful, caring, cheerful and humorous. Magali prepared a large and tasty breakfast for us including coffee, fresh fruit juice, fruit salad, eggs, bread … She helped us find our way around in Havana, find the best places to go out at night and booked us a great Oldtimer taxi. Staying in Magali´s house was one of the best parts during our journey. Magali, it has been a great pleasure to meet you and we are very grateful for the time with you and in your home. Thank you so much for all your caring. We wish you all the best!

La estancia en casa de Malaly fue excelente. Tanto ella como su familia nos acogieron con los brazos abiertos y facilitando en todo momento nuestra estancia en su casa. Las habitaciones, las sábanas y los baños están limpios. El aire acondicionado es un punto a favor ya que el calor fuera es a veces insoportable. El desayuno está bueno. La casa está bien situada dentro de la zona de Vedado y hay un punto de zona Wifi a dos minutos de la casa. Mi valoración es positiva.

Travel to Cuba is a one of a kind and shocking experience. One of the best parts is to be with lovely, caring and available people. This is Magali! Her home is in a residential neighborhood a little far from the tourist points, that way it is possible to be really inside the Cuban culture. Near by there is a good and cheap pizza place that Cubans go, a square with Wi-Fi signal, an excellent salsa club called 1830, an old military fort occupied during the revolution and nowadays its a restaurant, there is also hotels by the sea like the Cohiba, where it’s a point of the Havana tour bus. The house is very clean and taken care of, safe, cozy and the spaces well divided. The main room is shared with everybody but without mess and noise. The bedroom has a minibar, good beds and blankets, inside there is a private bathroom cleaned every day. She serves a very good breakfast with fresh fruits and juice, eggs, bread, worth it. Besides all that the big deal of this host is the sweetness of her, she took care of us like we were family. She helped us with all kind of things: explanations how works the city and transportations, like the shared taxi, made us restaurant reservation, booked a transfer from the airport, recommended and booked excellent houses in others cities. Cuba, more than a travel about politics, beaches and mojitos is a place about people like Magali. With a polite, nice e calm way, Magaly was a great surprise. We highly recommend Magali`s house, our home in Cuba.
