Ik leef met mijn echtgenoot en twee kinderen, in een tweedekkerhuis, in de woondistributie van Miramar. Wij helpen u om Havana te kennen, om een reisplan te organiseren om uw verblijf prachtig en onvergetelijk te maken!! Wij delen andere gebieden van het huis: terras, woonkamer en eetkamer. It was very nice to stay with the family of Monica in Havana. Monica always has a big smile who is also a painter. The husband is kind and helpful. They have a quiet girl and a cute boy. I really enjoyed the peaceful time in the chair at their balcony. You could easy to find a taxi outside and go to the center with 1 CUC.

My husband two children ( ages 17 & 20 ) and myself, stayed with Monica her husband Jose, their son Kiki and daughter Daniela for two nights. We were welcomed into their home with a huge smile, and they spoke English very well! Their home was very clean and our rooms were very spacious. A fridge was in our room filled with water,beer and snacks for us to purchase (a very nice added bonus). We had a big delicious breakfast of eggs,fresh fruit, breads,fresh milk and fresh yogurt each morning with Cuban coffee( my favorite ) YUM!! They gave us directions to many sightseeing places, helped us to find a beautiful church for Sunday mass. They helped us to get taxi's and would make sure the taxi price was fair. They helped us to get tickets to see the famous Tropicana Show . We wanted to travel to Trinidad and Cienfuegos, but we had not made any arrangements. So Monica and Jose jump on board and found us casas particulares ( private houses/ bed & breakfast ) in both places and got us an air condition taxi for the 3+ hour drive there! All in all, they were great hostesses !! We love Monica, her husband Jose and both their children! We hope to go back !!

Monica and Jose Ramon are great hosts. The room and bathroom are very clean, the house in a very good area of Havana, even if a little far from Havana Vieja. We felt like part of the family, as we joined them for the New Year's celebration in their home, together with their family. They provided us with very useful info about taxi fees, internet, banking, they helped with reservations for shows and transportation to and from the airport, even when we did not stay with them, on the last night in Havana. Highly recommended.
