I arrived the house at 11:30 PM very late time, but the hose welcome me kindly. and he was always kind, heart-full. I was impressed with his personality. the location is so good, near seaside and famous place. If I go to cuba again, i would like to stay here again.

Mi esposo y yo estuvimos hospedados en un apartamento situado en la zona céntrica de Centro Habana. Aunque el departamento no es moderno tiene todas las comodidades del caso: ducha con agua caliente, cocina, refrigeradora, microondas y menaje de cocina. Es una zona modesta pero muy céntrica. Pasan las líneas de buses y hay negocios de todo tipo muy cerca, librerías, bodegas, restaurantes, etc. Tuvimos toda la ayuda y asesoramiento de Sergio y su familia en todo momento. Él se mostró muy atento a nuestras necesidades y nos brindó todo tipo de apoyo y asesoramiento. El apartamento estuvo muy limpio y ordenado. Yo recomiendo a las personas que contacten con Sergio y se hospeden con él. Es un gran anfitrión. Carmen y Félix. Lima. Perú

Sergio was a wonderful host Very helpful with all our requests and questions. The location is not as close to the Havana vieja (30 min walk) but it's close to other attractions plus you got to see the real Cuba, plus its great to walk from there to main attractions and see everything along the way...

Our family (2 parents/2 college sons) made an educational/cultural trip to Havana and Viñales. Our apartment was traditional, simple, and clean. Sergio was ill but Gustavo helped us throughout our entire 4 night stay. We had AC, fans, and 4 great rocking chairs. We did not use the small kitchenette at all. We did run out of water for showering one morning. We were glad we stayed in a Casa Particular to better immerse ourselves in the warm Cuban culture!

Silvo and his family were really charming and kind. When me and my friend arrived in Cuba Silvio was already at the airport to pick us up because he didn't think we could find our way to his apartment. Both of us didn't speak a single word in Spanish before we arrived so we were relieved that he was there for us. Silvio didn't speak English very well, we were able to communicate with a mixture of Spanish, English, sign and drawing language. His daughter though speaks adequate English and when she was around communication went smoothly. We had a blast while staying in his apartment and loved the view it had over the city. The apartment is on 7th floor. We had trouble with our credit cards and couldn't take out money. Silvio went out of his way and helped us sort things out. We are really thank full for all the help he gave us. I give Silvio and his family the best rating possible even though they deserve so much more. I am really great full to have got the chance to get to know a real Cuban family and hope I will get the chance to visit them again. Silvio and his family really are awesome!

Our stay with Sergio was just awesome and I recommand this appartement to everyone! 7th floor, amazing view on Habana and the sea, a nice clean appartement and the most awesome breakfast anyone could dream of (I love breakfasts...). Sergio was a charming host, always asking us if everything was alright and ready to help us at any problem, recommanding us good places and even booking other casa particulares for us hen we went out of Habana! You can only enjoy your trip in this appartement :)

A fantastic experience. Silvio was a wonderful host, very kind and helpful. The apartment is right in the heart of Central Havana on the 7th floor so you can see the ocean and a lot of the city. I would 100% recommend this casa particular and will definitely be back! :)

Sergio is a warm and friendly, and punctual host, very attentive to the needs of his guests. He welcomed us at the airport, and on the way back saw us all the way to the passport control, saving us both time and stress. The seventh's floor apartment was well located within Centro Havana, with a quick taxi ride to Havana Vieja. Communications with Sergio were fast. Would repeat the experience any time!

If you're looking to live like a Cuban, this is a great place for you. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The view is also amazing, overlooking the sea and the city. The bed and pillows were not comfortable but the a/c worked well. It's a 10-minute walk to the Hotel Nacional and Malecon but a little far to walk into Havana Vieja. Silvio was very nice and accommodating. He made a big, very nice breakfast of fruit and eggs, chorizo, etc but be aware the cost of this is not included. The building and apartment have not been updated since the revolution so come with a spirit of adventure!
