Lovely home with Lorenzo and Ruty, with excellent breakfast and good internet connection. Very helpful and generous, making our stay in difficult circumstances (coronavirus) as smooth as possible. Would recommend. The only thing is taxi drivers couldn't find the address from their business card details.

Die Casa ist sehr schön und sauber. Das Frühstück ist im Preis inbegriffen und war sehr reichhaltig und gut! Ruty ist sehr bemüht um ihre Gäste. Notfalls wird bei Sprachbarrieren der Google Übersetzer genutzt. Vedado ist ein schicker Stadtteil, wenn auch etwas abseits von touristischem Zentrum.

Diese Unterkunft kann ich nur empfehlen. Sehr sauber, toll eingerichtet, gute Betten, gutes Frühstück. Ruty ist immer für alle Fragen offen und trotz keinerlei spanisch Kenntnissen sind wir ins Gespräch gekommen. Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen, kleine Sandwichesbar nur um die Ecke und auch ein nettes italienisches Lokal. Die Hauptstraße Los Presidentos ist gut zu erreichen, um mit dem Hop on Hop off eine Stadtrundfahrt zu machen. Wenn La Habanna, dann kommen wir wieder zu Ruty.

Pretty house in Vedado (5mn by car from Habana Vieja), the rooms are big and very clean. Ruty and all the staff are kind and helpful.

Meeting 2 friends from Canada for a weeklong joint holiday in Habana, this guest house in a quieter residential area off the beat of popular Vedado was lovely and we cannot praise Ruty and her team enough, they are cheerful, attentive and we benefited from smart advice about getting around, including taxi to the airport at an honest price. We shared a good-sized room with three single beds and a small balcony, the house is very well maintained, clean and tastefully furnished, wifi worked. Expect to walk four blocks to get to av 23 and a 10 minute taxi ride to old Habana, but you will sleep well at Ruty's and can have breakfast on the shady terrace with greenery around you, before diving into the buzz of the city. We enjoyed these contrasts. Muchas gracias, Ruty !! There are a couple of very good restaurants within 2 blocks which we tried and also recommend, one of them is a family-run paladar one block away with a wonderful rooftop which serves farm to fork food (has its own farm) and great drinks (incl. best pina colada I ever had). Again, muchas gracias to our hosts for contributing to memorable holidays, we recommend without hesitation and hope to be able to come again.
