Vivo con il mio marito, un nativo di Merida ed il nostri giovani figlio e figlia, in una casa che coloniale abbiamo ristabilito sul lato sud-occidentale del Centro Historico. La nostra casa è una passeggiata di 15 minuti dal centro della città e la nostra vicinanza è piena dei posti comperare e mangiare, dei parchi da passeggiare dentro e della cultura locale da assorbirsi. Siamo entrambi i cuochi unici formati, in modo dalla nostra cucina è completamente attrezzata montare qualche cosa che potreste trovare nel mercato centrale. Abbiamo un bello stagno e molte aree lounging, più un grande schermo TV, il wifi e tre bici che siete benvenuto utilizzare.

I had a wonderful time at Erin's. The home is cozy and tasteful. I plan to stay here again my next trip to the area.

The two weeks I spent with Erin and her family were fantastic! Erin is a rich source of creativity, positivity, and food knowledge and she shares it generously. I attended one of her market tours and it opened up a vast wealth of nourishing food to me - I highly recommend it. My time in Merida has benefitted a great deal from her advice, recommendations, and connections. I'm so grateful I had the chance to hang out with her warm fam in their beautiful and restful guestrooms.

We loved staying in Erin’s comfortable and spacious casita, decorated with lovely artworks right up to the high ceiling. Erin was a wonderful host and gave us many great ideas for places to eat and drink in Merida as well as inspired visits to do out of town. Although the location is a little out of the town centre it was usefully very near the ADO bus station and it was not long before the walk into the centre of town got easier to do. We hope to get back to Merida in the future and would certainly stay with Erin and her family again.

Ich hatte ein wunderschönes Zimmer mit Blick in den Garten, in einem sehr schönen Haus, einer sehr lieben Familie. Es ist alles da, mir hat nichts gefehlt. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Erin is very friendly and welcomes you to her home as if it was yours as well:) her family is very nice and kids are so open and playful we really enjoyed our time with them! Our room was huge with big bathroom on the other side of the garden, the whole house has a local touch and nice design! Everything is clean and homy! I can only recommend:)

We had a great time at our homestay with Erin and her family! The room was clean and comfortable, the location was great for an authentic experience close to Centro, and we really enjoyed the pool. It was comforting to come back to the stay and be greeted with a warm smile and comfortable stay. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking at home too. Erin was also helpful with advice on Merida and even took us with her family to a nearby cenote. Overall we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this to anyone staying in Merida.

Lovely family! You have a lot of privacy because you have your own small house (casita) and a beautiful patio with pool, which seperates the casita from the main house. Take the chance and ask Erin about a mexican cooking class. Even though Erin is american she knows a lot about mexican food and especially about local fruits and vegetables. Good to know: it takes about 10-15 minutes to walk into the city center.

I loved staying at Erin's home! It has a very homey feel to it which I found to be comforting since I was so far away from my own home. The room I stayed in was separate from the main house. The space is beautifully decorated and the courtyard area with the pool is amazing! There are trees and lots of plants which I find appealing. Erin's kitchen is the hub of the home where she made a delicious breakfast each morning. The location is good because the majority of everything I needed was walking distance. I highly recommend staying here!

If we could give Erin more than five stars, we would! She has a beautiful, comfortable home and family and we really enjoyed ourselves. She was very thoughtful with details in our room such as a hammock, water, decor, nightstands with lamps, comfy chairs, hangers, pool towels, outdoor shower, etc. We were able to use her kitchen to cook ourselves and the breakfasts she made us were spectacular! We had the upstairs room with the screened balcony and its a really large space. We were easily walkable to several parks, buses and the house is easily identifiable for uber pickup. We would definitely stay there again.
