Definately the best Casa we have booked during our stay in Cuba!! Big, modern and very clean rooms with a great atmosphere. Every room can enjoy the great breakfast at an own area. Nice rooftop terrace! Janio was very helpful and kind but he also gave us enough privacy. To get to Plaza Major, you only have to walk about 5 minutes. If you like to visit Trinidad, choose this Casa!

We have just returned from Cuba .. We stayed in Trinidad for eight days with Janio and his family in there Beautiful Homestay.. I have been to Cuba three times in the last two years.. Twice with my Son Adam and this time with my Wife.. Janio and his family are charming and attentive to all your needs.. The rooms beds and bedding are the cleanest and most comfotable i have slept in. Showers bathrooms are very good.. I give every room 10 out of 10... The entire House is wonderful.. Janio family and staff are warm welcoming and extremley helpful with your every need.. Don't hesitate to ask for any requirements you may have as Janio can arrange all your travel and recreational needs without Drama.. The breakfast was great 10 out of 10. Out of eight nights we dined at there house four times for evening meals.. The food was lovely and to be honest more satisfying than most restaurants in Trinidad.. We made very good freinds with them and are definatlety returning to there Homestay. So 10 out of 10 fior everything.. We will be returning asap..

Deze casa is in 1 woord geweldig! De beste van de 6 tijdens onze rondreis door Cuba. Janio is een geweldige gastheer. Hij helpt je met alles en praat ook nog eens goed Engels. We kregen een warm welkom en welkomstdrankje. Janio vertelde veel over Trinidad en omgeving/Cuba. Er zijn 4 casa's en iedere casa heeft een eigen zitje waar 's morgens je uitgebreide ontbijt wordt gebracht. Het is erg mooi aangelegd en heeft schitterende kleuren. Wij hadden het grote bed, wat heerlijk was, en een ruime kamer. Badkamer was voor ons iets te krap maar dit is een kleinigheidje. Er was een goede airco en een plafondventilator. Er stond zelfs shampoo en bodylotion. Ook was het overal erg schoon en kun je tegen een vergoeding je kleding laten wassen. Iedere dag werd het bed opgemaakt en kregen we schone handdoeken. Op het dak kun je leuk zitten, de straat/bergen zien en afkoelen in een klein badje. Helaas was deze tijdens onze komst leeg. De casa ligt 10 minuten lopen van het Viazul busstation, dus dichtbij, en precies tussen de 2 pleinen van de stad. We verbleven hier 5 nachten en hebben het prima naar onze zin gehad. Het voelde steeds als thuiskomen bij een uiterst vriendelijk gezin. Toen we heel vroeg in de ochtend weg gingen was Janio er om nog gedag te zeggen en ons uit te zwaaien totdat we de hoek om waren. Dat was voor ons echt heel mooi om mee te maken! Janio, muchas gracias por su hospitalidad y agradables momentos de hablar sobre Cuba! Quizás hasta la próxima vez. Saludos cordiales desde Holanda!

It was excellent choice. Janio is very nice and helpful host. He changed our room despite the room issue was caused by me. He speaks English very well. He explained how to get around Trinidad and gave us plenty of tips. We also could keep our scooter in safe place. Rooms are very clean. I think they are crazy about cleanliness ? Toilets are sterile. Every day we got fresh towels. There are plenty of advantages of stay at Janio’s home but cleanliness is number one. Differently than in others casas there is no place for mediocrity in equipment and furnishing aspect i.e. there are both 110V and 220V electrical outlets. We eat at the roof terrace with nice view on the town and mountains. The only weakness are moderate breakfasts. In other lodgings we had larger portions for the same price.

We couldn't rate our stay more highly. Janio has good English and was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful, giving us excellent suggestions for our stay in Trinidad. A beautiful home to stay in, with a rooftop area to enjoy also. He arranged bike hire for us, and helped us in any way he could. Nothing seemed too much trouble for him. Great breakfast also, generous amount. Would love to have stayed longer!
