Alexander was super nice and welcoming. Unfortunately, I got really sick just before arriving in Trinidad so I was a pretty boring guest during our whole stay. Alexander took care of everything and was very understanding of the situation. He speaks very good English which was helpful for us since our Spanish is very limited. The access to the room gives you plenty of privacy, which is definitely a plus. His father is also extremely kind and helpful, and can prepare you some huge breakfast with plently of fruits and cookies. The only thing that would need a slight improvement is the mattress. I'm dealing with some back pain right now and it was too soft for me. It was also a bit noisy since the house is located in one of the main avenues. Everything else was great. ¡Muchas gracias Alex!

Alex is a fantastic host. He was very nice and did everything to make our stay as comfortable as posible. We enjoyed the talks with him and he answered all our questions about Trinidad and Cuba. Also the rest of his family was very nice and helpful. He also serves a great dinner! If you need anything, ask Alex and he will take care of it, for example taxis or tours. We had both of his nice rooms, so we had the whole apartment with a kitchen and a roof terrace for ourselfes. The old town of Trinidad starts right across the street and is easy to eplore by feet. We totally enjoyed our stay at Alex's place and would always recommend it.

En casa de Alexander estuvimos como en casa. La habitación es muy amplia y cómoda y cuenta con entrada independiente. La casa tiene una terraza estupenda de la que se puede disfrutar en todo momento y en la que sirven un buen desayuno. También te ofrecen servicio de cena o comida, pero nosotros no lo probamos. Tanto alexander como su familia fueron muy simpáticos y amables con nosotros en todo momento y nos ayudaron en todo lo que les pedimos. Nos facilitaron y reservaron alojamiento en Camagüey y también en Santiago y quedamos también muy satisfechos de estos dos alojamientos que ellos nos facilitaron. Si volviera a Trinidad, sin duda volvería a alojarme en esta casa. Muchas gracias por todo familia

We absolutely loved staying in Alexander's home. The apartments were very clean and comfortable and better than the photos represent. The location was good . . about 4-5 blocks from Plaza Mayor. Alexander and his Father were delightful hosts: charming, helpful and Alexander speaks English extremely well. We only had breakfast with them and the food was delicious. If you have a choice of rooms . . Room 2 is much preferable. Don't hesitate to stay here.
