La nostra casa è nella periferia della città vicino alle spiagge senza fine dell'Oceano Indiano a Dar es Salaam. Vivo con mio figlio di 10 anni e una governante. Abbiamo due stanze autonome sul primo piano che può essere occupato dagli ospiti. La cucina, pranzare ed i saloni sono sul pianterreno. Gli ospiti possono anche accedere al balcone sul secondo piano per rilassamento o il barbecue. parliamo generalmente inglese ed a volte Swahili. Inoltre abbiamo un cuoco unico professionista che viene alla casa una volta richiesto. è una vicinanza calma e vicino a trasporto pubblico sebbene la nostra automobile di famiglia sia su per noleggio. Le stanze sono spaziose ed offriamo la prima colazione.

Nancy and her family were such marvellous hosts that my time in Dar es Salaam passed in what seemed like a haze. Nancy was very accommodating of my requests including adapting the breakfast menu to my unique requirements. She not only provided really useful tips on getting around Dar, but also freely shared invitations to social events and her family's membership to a swimming pool. I also had really engaging discussions on life in Dar with the other members of the family. It was indeed a homely experience; one that I would gladly recommend to others. The house is very neat and clean. My room was spacious, well lit and ventilated. The completion of the plumbing works in the bath will crown the already great experience.

Nancy's home is very clean and they are most welcoming. Breakfast every morning was lovely. Unfortunately there was no hot water for showering although Nancy did provide a kettle. The washing machine was provided but is not connected to a mains water source which proved challenging and time consuming and had to be manually filled. To wash with hot water the kettle was needed again. The Internet was advertised but we had to pay for the final two weeks. Nancy asked us for further payment for gas and laundry at the end of the trip even though this had been included in the advertisement. We had hardly used either service and so we felt this was an unfair request and when we refused to pay there was no trouble on this score . I would highly recommend this house to anyone who is going to be busy in Dar and is looking for a bed in a safe neighbourhood. Lovely family, staff and wonderfully clean house.
