Wonderful people! Ophelia is a very hospitable and sincere hostess! I lived on the ground floor, the room had two large beds. In the kitchen stood a fridge, a microwave.There is an individual toilet and shower, which are in the room where I lived. From the room there was a small private courtyard. In this courtyard stood the table, chairs. Great Studio!!! The beach is 200 metres away. The beach is divided into two parts by a small scythe. One part of the beach is suitable for surfing, the other-for a relaxing swim. On the beach sand, the depth of water is normal. Ofelia's house is located in a fishing village. In the village there are restaurants and cafes where you can eat. But I had enough Breakfast, which was prepared by Ophelia. I had dinner at a restaurant in Varadero. Ophelia is possible to rent a bike. Varadero can be reached by bus or taxi.

Gracie was an amazing host. First of all she is really kind. She acted basically as a very understanding and caring mom, which was especially great as I was traveling alone. She gave me change for the bus, she explained everything I asked from her even though her English and my Spanish was not the best. She kept me company every now and then and I have learnt a lot from her during my stay. She was always very open and approachable. She introduced me to friends, showed me how locals live. One day I went to visit Havanna and on my way back I had to get off of the bus a bit earlier than the last stop and not only did she give me a paper on which she basically explained where I should get off in Spainsh so all I had to do was hand it over to the driver she also came and waited for me in the place I got off to make sure I actually get off the bus :) I am absolutely grateful for having her as a host. Secondly, she is an amazing cook. She fed me so well in the morning not talking about dinner if I asked for. Huge portions and really lovely food. Much much better than staying out and having dinner at a restaurant. As for the place... it was amazing. The house I stayed in was huge. I had two beds, a kitchen an amazing bathroom including soap, shower cream, shampoo, hairdryer, towels. Besides I had the rooftop I could go up and sit outside in the sunset. Everything was clean, lovely, comfortable. There is air co in the room which is much needed in that crazy heat. There is also a fridge, TV. The place is 2 minutes walk away from the beach. I spent 10 nights there and I enjoyed every single moment of it. I can only recommend everyone to stay there if they have a chance as definitely they won't regret it. I would go back there anytime. I was even given a welcome drink when I arrived, she arranged a taxi for me and when I left I got goodbye present. They are wonderful people with an amazing place. My dear hosts, Thank you so much for your hospitality! Grasy and her dother are extremely nice. They arrange for us trips, transfers, dinner, everything that we may need. We felt like at home in their cosy and very clean house. Me and my friend stayed there 9 nights. We stayed in an apartment (in the photo it is look like a room only) but No! There is a kitchen (frige and sink) and 2 nice terraces (one of the roof), amazing at night to look at stars. Near the house (5 min on foot), there is a small, quiet beach with sand. Near by there is a sea food restaurant,cake shop, "local pub", very cheap! Boca is a village near Varadero, very peaceful and secure. You can go to Varadero with a public transport just for 0.05 cents, also there is many restaurants and even bars (not like in Varadero) but if you want to feel the real Cuban life, this homestay is higly recommended!

Muy bonita la casa y nos atendieron de lo mejor. El desayuno estaba muy rico con frutas y jugos frescos. Totalmente recomendada.

Absolutely my favourite Place in Cuba. Very friendly host that was helpful in all matters. Varadero is just a 15 minutes cabride away but the beach is just around the corner. My very best recommendations.

I had a lovely stay at Ofelia's home. Ofelia was the perfect host and her house is lovely, clean and tidy and very close to the beach. I would highly recommend this accommodation if you are wanting to come to this area of Cuba
