The house is located in district 104, within a short walking distance of a bus stop. Frequent bus to the center takes 15min to reach HÍ and HR.
The area is called Laugardalur or Hot Spring Valley and is very nice and calm with a lot of trees and birds. The largest Iceland ´s thermal swimming pool, botanical garden and domestic animal zoo are in a few minute's walk away. Three gyms in the neighborhood and good jogging paths around and along the ocean shore.
A little mall Glæsibær is 3 min walk away from the house which has a few restaurants, a bakery, sportsbar, a pharmacy and a 24h supermarket. Shopping point Holtagarðar is 15 min away, there also car rental, mini golf and liquor store are located.
