The landlord is super nice and friendly, the rooms are nice, the common area and the balcony is great. The location is fine, about 15 minutes walking to the metro line but easily access to the buses (personally i prefer this neighborhood since it's quiet and peaceful), the supermarkets and farmer market are quite close. A friendly reminder: if you choose this place, remember to follow the house's rules and it will be a great stay in Lisboa.

The room is relatively good but extremely noisy. It overlooks a busy avenue that prevents sleep in the morning. The apartment is very poorly located, there are no shopping centers nearby, you have to walk a lot to get there. In addition, the nearest metro stations are 1km away. Finally, there is a bus line down the apartment but it runs once every 20 minutes during the week much less at weekends. The apartment is quite old, the doors and windows are fine so you hear everything going on outside your room. The kitchen is very old, the hob only works once in 3, you have to go back several times to turn on the gas and sometimes you can not do it. Finally, the living room where we eat is very small and when the family eats there, you can not eat with them, you must wait until they have finished.

Unforgettable and wonderful experience! I couldn't get a better place in Lisbon. The house is located in a noble, wonderful, quiet and calm area called Alvalade. Right in front of the building there is a bus stop towards the University City (7 minutes), or you can go walking too. Crossing the avenue, it is possible to take a bus towards the red line, to the East (largest shopping mall Vasco da Gama and the Gare), to the airport (6 minutes). In the opposite direction, buses towards the city center. Alvalade Metro is nearby (about 7 minutes walking). Four nearby markets in the region: Lidl, Pingo Doce, Continente and Alvalade Market; clothing and accessory stores; butchery; grocery store. Three cafes / restaurant under the apartment. The room is beautiful, large, beautifully decoration, wardrobe, dresser with drawers, bedside nightstand, reading lamp, comfortable bed, TV, shoe shelf, study desk, drawers under the bed too and fan. As well as the living room, beautiful decorations, a bookcase and a large TV. The kitchen is great and has everything needed to make the food: utensils, plates, cups, mugs, cutlery, fridge, tuppeware, pots, pans, microwave, oven, hob, toaster, deep fryer, etc. Meals are made at the table and the evening the family has always been very receptive to joining dinner with them (great for interacting and learning more about Portuguese culture). The bathroom is new and very clean. The housekeeper lends towels and bedding. It has a balcony if you want to have a coffee and read books, and with the trees makes the place very cool! Finally, the house is beautiful and new, and the host family is wonderful. You will have so much fun with them because they are so friendly, polite and friendly! No doubt, this is the best place I've ever stayed! Would give 1000 stars for everything!

My room was quite small, but it was clean and nice and I had everything I needed :). The appartment is in calm area with a park nearby and you can easily reach the city centre by taking a metro in Alvalade (the station is about 10min walk from the house), there are also some shops, supermarkets, cafés and restaurants - you have everything you need to survive and enjoy :).

The place is big with lovely balcony. The apartment is well cared, cleaned and with fantastic atmosphere. Is very good located near a bus stop and metro station. Also in this area you can find all supermarkets you will need to surivie and don't die of hunger.
