Nous aimerions te souhaiter la bienvenue à notre maison dans le fort Cochin. Nous avons plaisir à faire cuire et avoir une vie sociale et avons 2 doubles chambres à coucher à C.A. et une chambre familiale à C.A. pour quatre, avec le balcon. Les équipements sont TV, climatisation, cabinet/garde-robe, bureau et lampe, et miroir. Harry Bernard a 75 ans. Il parle l'anglais, le hindi, et le Malayalam, Tamoul et apprécie des sports, ayant une vie sociale, faisant cuire, des films de observation, musique, yoles, festivals, peinture, lecture, photographie, apprenant des langues étrangères, voyage, télévision, faisant du jardinage, nature, jeux de société, voiture, la science, théâtre. I have just spent almost 2 months in this homestay. It was really that! A home from home. Clean and very laid back. They are both very welcoming and Harry is always around to advise or help in any way. The breakfast made by Merci and served by Harry are always delicious and served outside on their terrace. Merci is a wonderful cook and will sometimes cook other meals if needed. The homestay is a couple of minutes walk from the center of Kochi. I recommend!

This was our second stay in Harry’s house, this time in a double room which looked even nicer than on the photos. Again it was an outstanding experience and we would definitely love to come back again.

Beautiful and nicely decorated house, perfectly located in a calm but very central part of Fort Kochi. We had a spacious and cosy family room with a nice balcony and an independent entry. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Easy communication even before arrival and very friendly host family on site who shared lots about Indian culture and arts. We were absolutely delighted and were more than happy to see them again as we had booked another night after coming back from Marari beach. We highly recommend.

My sister and I have just spent the most magical 2 weeks holidaying at Fort Kochi India. The wonderful people we met and stayed with at Harry’s Homestay Lilly street are so very warm and very kind. Harry’s attention to detail in making sure all of our plans went without any hiccups, and Mercy’s beautiful cooking and welcoming environment made our 2 weeks restful, exciting, and full of laughter and enjoyment. Our apartment was on the top of Harry’s and Mercy’s House with our own entrance and front door. The beautiful 2 bedroom accommodation with bathroom was always kept emaculate, we spent many evenings chatting and admiring the views from our own beautiful balcony, and hearing the exotic sounds around us, (before we went out into the buzz, and excitement of Fort Kochi). We cannot believe our fate at having the opportunity to have met them both and to have had Harry and Mercy keep a watchful eye over us, even though we did not need it, but taking care of us came without any hesitation or thought of their own plans, this came naturally, they are both truly unique and wonderful individuals, our new extended family. The vibrant anything goes but works attitude, and wonderful places we visited and accomplished while in Kerala for 2 short weeks, will be with us for ever. Along with all the other friends we have made while in Fort Kochi, we have surely made friends for life and will be returning to Forth Kochi along with staying at Harry’s Homestay Lilly street, for many more years to come. Very good and quiet place to sleep, Harry’s homestay is situated in a calm area with garden not far from the sea. Food was delicious. Harry proposed us another homestay for our last day, but this was not what we expected, too much noise from the street and neighbour rooms. We could not sleep. So avoid this other place !

Harry was like a father in India. Before we even left Ireland we had lots of very helpful communication. His location is quiet but still a short walk into the centre. We had a delicious breakfast each morning prepared by his wife. She also organised cloths washing etc. He is extremely knowledgable about the area and his English is excellent. The rest of our trip around india has been hassle free due to his help and advise at the planning stage. We will return to his home without hesitation and look forward to our next. reunion. A big thanks to Harry and Mercy.

I can really recommend Harrys homestay. He and his wife are both very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed a delicious Indian meal. Harry suggested good activities and arranged everything so that i could relax .Their House ist perfectly situated near the harbour and other interesting Places to visit in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood.
