Nous sommes une famille de quatre, cette vivons dans une maison de 6 lits dans Stepaside, du côté sud de Dublin, avec nos deux fils 17/20. Notre maison est très proche de la montagne de trois roches que nous aimons explorer et les garçons aiment faire un cycle (faire du vélo et route de montagne) entre d'autres activités en plein air. Elle est également très accessible pour la ville en les luas ou l'autobus qui est à moins de la promenade 8 minute. Nous avons une grande cuisine avec la salle à manger de plan ouvert et le salon. Il y a un beau jardin et de grandes vues tout autour. Stepaside voisin, est un petit village très étrange qui a une sensation rurale avec de beaux restaurants, un bar et des magasins.

Good host family. I never had any problem with them, they are quite funny and friendly. Always there to help you with your English or to give you advice to get accommodation or a job. I was very happy with them and I would advise everyone to have this great family

Lovely time with Joan and her family. They are excellent hosts, always willing to help you. It was my first time with a host family and I felt at home. The house and the room are very comfortable and perfectly equipped. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet, also very well connected to the city center by Luas. In a nutshell, my experience in Dublin was amazing and I am so thankful for Joan and her family.

I spent three and a half months in Ireland with this host family. I was very well received and I felt at ease with them very quickly. I will never forget what they did for me and I will miss them all very much. I hope to see them again one day and I wish them all the best for the future :)

Joan's family are magnificent human beings, very welcoming people who treat you with great tenderness. Joan as a host is marvelous but as a person she is simply fantastic. All the members of the family and she offered me the best advice and suggestions to move around the city. I am very content to have lived my first month in Ireland with all of them. I give my highest recommendation to this host family. Do not hesitate to contact Joan when in Dublin for suitable accommodation, the rooms are simply perfect, clean and well equipped.

I had a wonderful time staying with Joan. The family is very kind and welcoming and the house is lovely and clean. The room is spacious and has plenty of storage space as well, and there's a desk for studying/work and a small fridge. The neighborhood is very nice too: it's quiet and green, and there's a few parks nearby where you can go for a walk (e.g. the Fernhill park, I really enjoyed going there as it has some great views and nature). The house is ~10 minutes walking from the Luas, which takes you to the city centre in about ~20 minutes. I did this most days and found it a very comfortable, quick and easy way to get around. I'd definitely recommend staying with Joan!

The adorable house & room was just as described. It was very peaceful, cozy, inviting.. plenty of space for all my things and also there is a fridge in the bedroom (ideal!) the neighborhood as well is very nice with parks and beautifuls lands ideal for walks. With supermarkets, pharmacies, and transport stops near the house. But the best of all is Joan and her lovely family, they are so friendly, helpful and welcoming that make you feel "at home" all the time. She was quick to respond to questions & always giving her best trying to help me. I loved staying here, I would gladly come back again and hope to do so in the future. Highly recommend!
