Excellent arrangement, very courteous and friendly host, smooth wi-fi, western-style toilet, running hot water, secure and safe environment. Please note host arranges only vegetarian and vegan food. Had dinner one night at his place, which was good as well. Please keep it up, hope to visit again and recommend to others, thanks Anshuman.

We stayed with Anshuman for a few days whilst visiting Varanasi. The family room was perfect for us, a good size with the use of some welcomed outdoor space and terrace. Anshuman was the perfect host, kind and very helpful, providing us with information on Varanasi, where to visit and where to find the best Indian sweets in the area! I would definitely recommend his place.

The house is very nice clean and tidy. All the necessary things were provided to guests. The hosts were very cooperative courteous and hospitable. My three days stay there was therefore very memorable. I had forgotten my spects there, The hosts returned the same immediately by courier and I got them back in a couple of days'

Very harmonious and caring family, whose mother is a really phantastic cook! Very clean and big rooms, very tasteful furniture and decorations. I had one of my best time in India here, so i can obly highly recommend this homestay family!

So... I stayed at Anshuman's place for 3 months. And that was an amazing experiment. I feel so lucky that life put Anshuman and his family on my road in India. As I was new in India, and had to basically stay in the same town (which is Varanasi), I had to find a place of trust, where I would feel good. Well I found that place at Anshuman's place, and more than that, I had the opportunity to create strong relashionship with him, his wife and their two children. Because they all are open-minded, curious, friendly, generous and most of all, great sense of humour ;) It didn't took time before I felt like at home. And I will definitly come back in their place, when I go to Varanasi, because now more than host, I can be sure that Anshuman and Shalini are my friends, or member of family, as they nicely say to me :). I think this is one of the best places you can find in Varanasi, and not far away from the center, the old city, not far from the ghats neither. You also have some good and not expensive restaurants near to the house. Don't hesitate to contact them if you need. Can't wait to come back. With lots of love, Boubou
