Nous avons seulement deux ans habituellement à la maison, mon fils, qui est dans la deuxième université d'année (20 années) et je suis un professeur à plein temps. Nous chacun des deux aimons l'extérieur, gardant l'ajustement, la musique, et le film. Nous sommes des non-fumeurs et apprécions un mode de vie sain. Notre secteur est servi par des autobus, le Luas et le dard cependant nous les deux cycle beaucoup aussi. Le manoir de Rockford est un beau petit, apaise la communauté à déchenchements périodiques avec de belles raisons avec 7 acres de pelouses et de région boisée. C'est quelques minutes marchent du centre et du Monkstown de Blackrock et bien servi en le dard et les autobus. Nous espérons que vous avez une grande expérience rester avec nous :)

I stayed with Elizabeth for 4 months during a semester in university. Elizabeth was very friendly and welcoming, and makes her guests feel like her house is there's. The rooms available are comfortable and private, and the bathroom is great. The kitchen is fully equipped and available to use, which is a plus. The location is also great, and is well connected to the city with a variety of buses and the dart.

My stay in Elizabeth’s home was wonderful. She’s a very welcoming and helpful host. The house is very nice and clean as well as the room I was staying in (in the attic). I settled very quickly and felt easily at home. Everything was perfect, I only wish it had been longer ;). I strongly recommend!

I‘ve had a fantastic experience staying at Elizabeth’s house. The rooms are clean, bright and very tastefully decorated, the bathrooms are newly renovated and therefore as modern and nice as they can be. The kitchen is also equipped with anything you might need. Getting around Dublin is easy, with quick access to both busses and trains. The walk to the train station is particularly nice, as it is directly at the coast. Going for a walk or a run in the area is highly recommended as the pier is very scenic, especially at dawn. Elizabeth is both a professional yet very caring and friendly host. Staying at her place was a pleasure! Thank you, Elizabeth!

I had the most wonderful experience in this homestay! Just like previous guests, I felt immediately at home in Betty’s beautiful, cosy home and simply cannot imagine a better place to have stayed as I found my feet in Ireland. The house is situated in a lovely, quiet close that has landscaped gardens and feels extremely safe, as indeed does the whole of the local area. There are excellent transport links into local towns and villages and into Dublin city centre. The bus route into town is very direct and stops about 5 minutes away from the house, and there are also a couple of DART stations within walking distance. Nearby in Blackrock you will find several large food stores for all your weekly provisions as well as some delightful coffee shops. One of the joys of Ireland is the amazing food, and food shops, and there are plenty to enjoy both on the doorstep and further afield. There are also lots of beautiful coastal walks nearby. With so much to explore this is really the ideal location. The loft room where I stayed was perfect, and contained everything I needed for a comfortable stay, not to mention views of the lights of Dublin twinkling in the distance. Betty was so kind to me and gave me so much help and advice and for that I will always be grateful. My first few weeks in Ireland felt so easy and I got so much out of my time there, all thanks to Betty! Nidge the cat is adorable and probably the friendliest (and smartest!) cat I have ever met. Thanks for a wonderful stay Betty!

I have stayied one week and a half with Elizabeth and it has been fantastic. Elizabeth is the most lovely host ever. She helped me with everything I needed. Also, her house is beautiful, so I recommend her so much! I am sure that everybody who stays in her house would feel like home.

I couldn't recommend this accommodation enough! Betty is such a lovely and kind person, she went above and beyond to make us all feel comfortable and made sure we had everything we could possibly need. I will never forget her kindness and moral support as I was in the middle of moving houses and she helped me even with that. It truly felt like having a home from home during my whole stay! She knows the area and Ireland very well and will give you great tips; from the best nearby walks, swimming places, shopping, opticians to basically anything you are looking for:) And the house is just as lovely as her. Very charming, spacious, quiet and clean, with beautiful garden behind the house. My room was modern ensuit on top of the house (great sunset views!), very cosy and warm. I never slept so good! The area is very safe and quiet, with everything you need nearby. It's also a very good starting point for exploring this part of Ireland- Blackrock, Monkstown, Dún laoghaire, Dalkey, Bray...are all famous charming seaside towns and for more country hikes there's co. Wicklow, just a train away. Thank you again for everything Betty and please, give Nidge a big hug from me!
