Det var en fin bolig der vertskapet var på tilbudssiden hele tiden. Et lite stykke å gå ned til bykjernen men det gokk greit i varmen. Det var en takterasse tilknyttet huset men der var ingen stoler eller bord og den ble dermed litt vanskelig å bruke. Ellers var det skikkelig Cuba. Vi sovnet til hunder som gjødde i bakgården utover natta, og våknet til hanegal tidlig på morgenen.

We arrived in Cienfuegos in the late afternoon and were warmly welcomed by the Amigos de Cubanito. The Casa Particular is beautifully designed and we immediately felt at home. We were cooked on the second evening and the food was very tasty. Mama Angela took a good look at us and made us laugh. Thank you Amigos de Cubanito.

Very new & clean room/area, by far the best bed we had in Cuba (would trade it with my matraze at home anytime!), were taken on a long stroll through Cienfuegos (4.5hrs) with lots of explanations (although Spanish was very hard to understand as we were both beginners), can recommend 2 nights there (1 to see Cienfuegos, 1 for a long tour into the woods), food was good & plentiful, helped us with the taxi (got a good price, not a rip-off) Can definately recommend the casa as they were very hearty, helpful & caring during all of our stay!

Io e mio marito avevamo prenotato presso questa struttura solo una notte. Ci siamo trovati talmente bene per la disponibilità dello staff, per la qualità del cibo e per la pulizia della camera e degli spazi comuni che abbiamo deciso di rimanere una notte in più (fortunatamente la camera era libera). Consiglio assolutamente questa struttura, la loro accoglienza è meravigliosa........è un po' come sentirsi a casa. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

We had an amazing couple of days with Romel and all at Amigos de Cubanito tours. They were all so welcoming and accommodating. Romel has perfect English which was brilliant! The breakfast's and dinner's were delicious, especially the local fish dish that was prepared for us. The room was very comfortable and spacious and had air con, a safe and a kitchen. The location is perfect too as its walking distance to the city centre. Romel brought us to a lovely beach and all over Cienfuegos too. We got a great cultural insight about the island and the local lifestyle. He showed us the best bars as well. We loved the time we spent there and even ended up extending our stay by a day. We've been telling everyone about this place since we got home.

We stayed for more than a week at Amigos de Cubanito. Everything was great! The staff was friendly and attentive, the accommodations clean and comfortable, and charming. There was more food than anyone could eat.! We ate our meals in the “ranchon”, the on-site bar and restaurant. We also had our own very clean kitchen, which would be great for a longer stay, if we wanted to cook for ourselves. We also toured with Romel....he is very friendly, speaks four languages, and knows special, out of the way places for snorkelling and hiking and beach barbecues, as well as the common tourist areas. He arranged our transportation to and from the airport as well. We felt safe and secure. Cienfuegos is my favourite city in Cuba. We had a wonderful experience, and definitely will return again soon. Hugs and kisses to all of the staff and family!

It was more than 5 hearts. Very very clean, food was over the top, staff was wonderful. I plan on a return visit and spending more time there. I would recommend this to anyone. Bathroom is very clean, hot water and hair dryer, being American this is major. Thanks to everyone see you soon.

We spent 4 great days as guests of Romel and his splendid family. Accommodation and food (2 dinners and 4 breakfasts) are very good, Parillada on the Beach is delicious, his suggestions very useful. The best host of our trip in Cuba!
