Domitilla was a very nice host and her home is beautiful and has a lot of character. We did however feel that the home wasn’t fully ready for guests. The shared bathrooms were a bit cluttered and not always clean. The beds we stayed in weren’t very comfortable, our bedding had stains and for three nights we only received 1 towel each. Also the road outside was loud, not necessarily a problem for us, but it wasn’t very relaxing. Just something to keep in mind if you are looking for something of the sort. The house has a lot of charm and potential, but didn’t live up to our expectations at this moment in time.

This property has character but, because it beside a very busy road, the traffic noise made it difficult to sleep. The main bathroom was shared with 4 other residents which I found a little lacking in privacy and often loo roll ran out and I was unable to find replacements. Domitilla was quite friendly but I felt a little watched over, and I was very aware that I should switch lights off after leaving a room or corridor. As a result, the apartment was very dark. I was travelling alone and this atmosphere made me feel quite uncomfortable.

Domitilla is a welcoming and helpful host. Her home is full of character and well situated for anyone wishing to explore Genoa and the region. I can highly recommend!

La maison de Domitilla est vraiment magnifique. L'hôtesse était absente mais nous avons été reçu par Francesco, un habitué très sympathique. Un petit bémol cependant pour trouver l'appartement.

Was really enjoying my stay in Genova. Domitilla is a great host and makes sure everyone feels comfortable. The apartment itself is in the historic building and has beautiful wooden crafted ceilings, sunny terrace and close to the train and metro station.

Fantastic time in Genova in fantastic place! Domitilla is excellent host! So friendly, helpful and organized. We are happy we've met. The appartment is a discovery. Historical house in nice place full of vintage beauty with very convenient rooms. All you need for comfortable stay. And the terrace of course, perfect for meal outside. We've spent only a night but still full of impressions. Thank you, Domitilla, for making our meeting with Genova so bright.
