My stay with Kam was very enjoyable and comfortable. It was an unforgettable experience during my two-month stay, where I was able to learn a lot about the country and its culture. If there were any issues, Kam was always there to assist with anything. The house is beautiful and conveniently located near the station. If you're looking for a place to stay, Kam is the best choice

I stayed here for a month to experience authentic living in Kyoto. I had a very pleasant experience here. Jenna and Kam are very nice people, the room is cosy, kitchen and bathroom are usually very clean, the washing machine works perfectly and the surrounding area is very quiet and perfect for a walk. The kitchen is equipped very well too so cooking is also a fun experience here. There are several convenience stores in walking distance and three train stations from which you can get pretty much anywhere in Kyoto. All in all, I would definitely come here once more if I ever want to spend a month in my favourite city again.

Jenna and Kan are really lovely hosts and their home is beautiful and comfortable. The house is very well kept and I appreciated the guidebook they sent me with some simple house rules and tips for the local area. I stayed in both rooms during my stay and they are both very relaxing with a simple futon setup on the tatami floors and a small desk and wardrobe. The kitchen is a nice place to spend time and I really enjoyed using the kotatsu during the cold winter. The hosts were always so friendly and accomodating and I enjoyed sharing shabu shabu with them one night, which was very kind of them. There isn't much to do or see in the immediate area but it is within a 15 minute walk from the train station and you can easily get to Uji, Nara, Kyoto and Osaka from there. Overall, I'd highly recommend staying with these lovely hosts in their beautiful home :)

La chambre était dans le style traditionnel japonais, très charmante et reposante ! Les hôtes très gentils et de bon conseil. Le logement se trouve à environ 15 minutes à pied de deux stations de train, et environ 8 min d'un Konbini et un supermarché. La cuisine est bien équipée également :) Nous avons adoré ce séjour !! Merci à Kam et Jenna pour leur chaleureux accueil

Kan an Jenna are very welcoming and caring hosts! They'll send you a pdf upfront with everything you'll need to know, which comes in pretty handy. They will also answer every question you have aswell as giving good recommendations on where to go/what to visit. The location is pretty quiet, theres several train stations within 12-25 minutes of walk, depending on where you want to go. Being located in Fushimi along the Keihan Line it's a good starting point for sightseeing around Kyoto! The downside of that is, the supermarkets being a bit further away aswell (also around 12-15 minutes). The next convenience store is around 5 minutes away, also theres 100 Yen vending machines all around. The house itself is clean with nice interior and access to almost all needs. Especially the washing machine/dryer combo was pretty practical ;) The room itself was clean and had all you need, but you can't really set the A/C temperature. Over all it was a good experience, and I hope to come back, if I return to Kyoto!
